I dunno where the hell the title came from, but you know. Whenever I start a new document, I name it with the one-word theme that inspired it. In this case, it was "moving". But that's boring. Anyway.

I labelled this as mature content because, as with the others, there is referenced discussion of suicide. That's gonna be a recurring theme with Seamus. I'm glad to have finally connected everything here; Freya was kind of an afterthought, but Alice was always supposed to exist. She just wasn't really around until this week, when I finally started writing around her. I know this is kind of sloppy (my writing is apparently like a brick, or so I've been told), but I'm just so excited to have finally gotten this done. Alice and Seamus are gonna be tight, lemme tell you. She's kind of his story, in a way.

Also, this is dedicated to my guy Child-of-Sleep, who also sketched Alice and Seamus for me! (Linking to it below.) It's fantastic, and I highly recommend you check her art out. I can't thank her enough for sticking with me for the last few years and helping me out with my writing. (And, y'know, drawing my characters when she has no obligation to.)

So y'know, I'm proud of myself. I'm getting back into the swing of things with this piece, and I'm glad that I've come up with something new. It feels good, man.

That said, enjoy (or not)...

Oh man. I just love this so much. There's so much tension, and it's beautiful. This whole thing is beautiful.

I love that Seamus grins at the end. And I'm not sure if that's weird. I'm just picturing him like... he knows exactly what he is doing, doesn't he? Throwing Alice for a loop like that. I can't wait for whatever you do next with this story. I'm really looking forward to Alice and Seamus meeting each other? Like, I guess they're not complete strangers already, since Seamus has been hanging around and Alice is aware of his presence on some level. But man. Finding out that she has a new ghost friend is gonna be a lot to swallow.
